Oasis for Immigrants

MEET THE PRESIDENT

ANGELA REID

A woman in a black jacket and white shirt

Department of Justice Accredited Representative, Founder and President of Oasis For Immigrants, Inc.

Angela was born in Jamaica and migrated to the US in 2005. As a Clothing and Textile teacher, She quickly understood that her career had to be changed in order to support her family. So, while doing odd jobs, her main focus was to make a big difference for her family and her community.

She later gained a degree in Paralegal studies where her focus was on Immigration Law, and subsequently became self employed as a Legal Document Preparer.

During that period, she listened to the cry of the people who did not have the money to retain an immigration lawyer. She assisted them with their green card and citizenship applications at a reduced cost, sometimes for free.

She worked very hard with affiliate entities, and gained the confidence of City Commissioners, the Mayor and fellow community members who highly recommended her. Based upon her qualifications and experience, the Department of Justice and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) recognized Oasis For Immigrants as a valid service to the community.
