Migranny – Jamaican Gourmet Food

The concept of this venture and the name “Migranny”, was established upon the premise of fund raising for Oasis for Immigrants. Instead of relying on donations that are very difficult to attain, to help us to maintain our business, we utilize time and skills. The founder of Oasis for Immigrants, Angela Reid hails from Jamaica and was natured partially by her grandmother Ms. Perlene in the rural community of Long Road St. Mary, where she was taught to make these gourmet foods, thus came the name Migranny.

Types of Food

The Jamaican diaspora in the United States is very large and diverse, Therefore, we strive to bring the taste of Jamaica in as much households as possible. We would like non- Jamaican as well to taste out tantalizing bulla cakes, rock cake, gizzada, sorrel drink, guava jam, scotch bonnet pepper sauce, and our preserved ackee and saltfish(codfish). We are thankful for your contribution of any kind.
